The New Challenge
After a relatively quiet
winter, Dime Racing are looking forward to a new season and a
new challenge. After several seasons of endurance pro kart
racing, the team decided it was time for a serious infusion of
speed and competition, which had been missing in the past.
Apart from the obvious
need for fast competitive racing, the team are also very keen to
compete in a championship which is friendly and fun and we
believe we have found this in the 'Dadsons Gentleman's
Challenge.'
Last season it was
extremely well supported with large entries and a very good
supporter base and this year looks to be even more popular.
Dime Racing will be
entering a two kart team in this years championship and although
we will not be contesting the whole championship, we hope to do
four or five of the more local rounds.
Our winter testing has
consisted of mostly familiarisation, with circuits we we had not
raced at in the past but we have been pleasantly surprised at
our pace at most of them.
Hopefully we will be
able to post test and race results as the season progresses,
along with pictures and analysis and some useful links.
